What to Order
There are several products available for most instruments.
Manual
Most of our Manuals contain a non-reproducible sample of the instrument. They also contain the typical components used for administration, scoring, and interpretation. Most include validity and reliability research results (the instrument and scoring key are marked “sample” because they are for review, not for use. In order to use/administer an instrument, you must purchase a License to Reproduce/Administer the instrument).
License to Reproduce/Administer (1 - 500 copies)
A License to Reproduce/Administer provides the purchasers with a license to reproduce
(paper and pencil ) or administer (online) the instrument. Whether you order the paper form or the PDF/ electronic form, you will receive just one copy and a written license to reproduce/ administer the purchased number.
Typically all components needed to administer the instrument are included in the License to Reproduce (e.g., forms, scoring, answer sheet, etc. as appropriate for that instrument). Licenses
do not contain a copy of the Manual which must be
purchased separately. The Manual includes a non-reproducible copy of the instrument and scoring instructions plus administration, scoring interpretation, validity and reliability information. We recommend purchasing the Manual for all instruments. Please note that with a License to Reproduce/Administer, the license is
only for personal research or non-commercial research use and for a one-year period from the date of purchase.

Paper Booklets, Answer Sheets and Profiles (E)
The Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT) booklets are the only product we sell in this manner due to the graphic requirements of the assessment. GEFT booklets come in packages of 25.
Workbook Reproduction Licenses
Workbooks can be ordered on a per copy printed basis, or as a license to reproduce. An example of a workbook is “Understanding and Getting Free of Abuse.”
Online (Electronic) Purchases
PDF versions of products
Most Mind Garden products are available as a PDF file. Look for the red and gray PDF icon on the product page, and follow the ordering instructions. Within an hour after purchase, we will send you two emails. The first email will be a copy of your sales receipt and the second email will contain login instructions so that you can access your PDFs on our server. If by some chance you do not receive these instructions, go to www.mindgarden.com, at the top click on Transform, and in the green box enter the 'Ship to' email address. Create a password and you will find your documents waiting there. We highly recommend the PDF option so that you can get your product quickly, without paying taxes, shipping and handling.
Reports and Data from online assessment
How to create a multi-rater campaign using Mind Garden's new Transform system
Our new Transform system enables your participants to respond to survey instruments online. Upon purchase, we will email you an account login. You enter the contact information of your participants and Transform will administer the assessment. Once the survey process is complete, Mind Garden will provide either a PDF report or a .CSV file of the data. For a full explanation of the process, see How online assessment with Transform works. Transform accounts will stay active for one year, after which unused or unrequested assessments will expire and will not be retained.
Expiration of Data and Assessments
Note: Data and unused assessments will be retained by Mind Garden for a period of one year unless the customer contacts us via email prior to the end of that year with a request to retain them longer.
Payment Options
MasterCard and Visa can be used in order forms, by phone, and through the shopping cart. American Express and Discover can only be used in order forms or by phone. Mind Garden accepts institutional purchase orders and wire transfers (contact us for wire transfer details). Payments must be in U.S. dollars drawn from a U.S. bank.

/ "No Returns Policy"
Many/most of our instruments are available for electronic purchase in 
PDF
format. PDF files can be read with Acrobat reader (free), available
at Adobe.
If a product is available in PDF format, it will be listed as "Digital Download (PDF)" with the red and grey PDF icon. Click on the PDF icon to add it to your shopping cart. Please verify that you have chose the correct product --because you cannot "return" a PDF document.
We'll say that again: Please be sure you've chosen the right document, because PDF purchases cannot be returned. If you have any questions about PDF documents, please call or email us.
Returns and Exchanges
- PDFs, including Reproduction licenses and Manuals, may not be returned.
- Acceptable returns must be made within thirty days of purchase.
- Returns must be sent to Mind Garden by certified mail or other traceable method.
- To receive credit, products must be in re-salable condition and accompanied by a copy of the original invoice.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Limitation of Liability
Mind Garden, Inc. will not be responsible or liable for the use or misuse of the materials or services offered on our website. The purchaser/user assumes all responsibility for use or misuse of the same.
